Love this game, incredibly fun even though it's fiendishly difficult and requires extensive studying of wikis and guides to really get it. Probably could've done with culling some of the biome modifiers and perks, though, a lot of them feel pretty random and not really good for immersion or gameplay.

Спасибо тебе безумный финский разработчик, у меня больше нету процессора

What engine did you make this with?

not the dev but its a custom c++ engine

Hello. In the holy mountain just before the jungle, there is this problem: one of those big spiders might come and destroy the bricks from below. This angers the gods even if the player is just standing there. Is this wanted? Looks like a bug to me

(+5)(-1)

no, it's a feature

You are not Nolla Games... Where did you find this information?

(+6)

It just a well known thing in Noita community. Doesn't matter who made it, gods blame you.

:(

these spiders just dig through ground, it's supposed to add another bit or randomness and chaos to the gameplay

Yeah, it's a weird bug-like feature and makes me wonder why there even is a worm crystal in the first place, but good luck getting the fanboys to acknowledge that. Would've been a far better solution to have the holy mountains be safe from spiders and worms and then give players the choice to shatter the worm crystal in return for some benefit or another.

Typically when this is brought up you'll have fanboys insist they don't see the problem because with 12489 hours put into the game they can kill Steve easily, but it's ruined many a beginner player's run.

Noita is the second best thing I've spent 1,000+ hours on—right after configuring my LFS system for days on end. I guess I just have a thing for complex challenges. Anyway, I totally recommend buying it and supporting the devs keep going

Is it possible to make it for Linux ? I would LOVE to play that, but, I don't have windows

(+5)

If you buy it on steam you could use Proton

(+4)

Bought this on Steam, it's a great game

(+8)

step two: find "homing"

step three: win

Can you port this game to Apple Silicon please?

(+2)(-2)

it works decently on macos with parallels but then this thing takes like 40GB of storage.. that is way too much just for noita... I hope you can make a build for macos, even just x64

windows 11 is bloated as hell

You can install wine (something about 4GB) and play noita, but sometimes it can run slowly

(+1)

yes I got it working with whisky (a wine wrapper with macOS own take on proton) and it does work somewhat ok but it's nowhere as fast as on an old PC. :) would be amazing the game get reverse engineered so we have native version for other OS. Like arm Linux too.

For the record this is my favourite game, in fact it's the only game I play lol. I can't play noita, I just don't play games anymore.
